#22573, "the 2gnt search is in overdrive...how bout this replacement?"

So I've been looking for a replacement car ever since I've been home. Well the search really kicked in once I started at UTI and everybody and they're mom has a damn car. I wasn't looking to spend anymore than $4k and definitely don't plan on "settling" on something I won't be happy with. I know I'm very picky and have turned down upwards of 10-15 cars in the 3 months. Anywho, thought I would post on here and start to get opinions since my cash monies is available and I don't see myself waiting much longer to get one.

blah blah blah, here's one...

Im not a big fan of the body kit. and that hood is ass ugly. But if the car is in good shape that can be fixed.

We will build you bigger and stronger

I think it's nice. I'd much rather a kitted car that's black and clean than a stock one with stickers all over it making it look cluttered. Of course that's kinda what I went with on my car so I'm a little biased. Personally I think it's definetly one of the cleaner kitted dsm's I've seen and black helps it be subtle while aggressive

I contributed to the Wiki!
EVO IX - just a really expensive boost gauge and a K&N air filter
96 Eclipse RS -awaiting registration and inspection

Aggressive maybe. Subtle no. I hate those sideskirts with a passion. The lines don't match up. Its obviously an kids car, with all the plastics and I bet if you opened up the hood you would find dirt, debris, and maybe some dead animals as well.

Actually lol, it's a girls car...she works on cars, and so does her fiance who also owns a 2gnt as well as a 1g. They are getting rid of one of the RS's to get an EVO. This car is definitely at the top of the list, but I can show you guys all the real rice machines that people around here have tried to sell me. I actually would prefer an RS over a GS, RS-T is just so much better LMAO...plus it's not like I can't convert most of the stuff anyways. Granted that front bumper won't be staying on there, hell I might even do a 2ga conversion since everyone and their mom prefers 2gb.

for 3000, if its clean with no rust and runs great, I say buy it. The hood can always be traded for a black hood. Who cares about the rest of the kit.

I do. It's pathetic. Offer them $2500 for it and let them keep the body kit pieces. I'd rather drive it with no bumper skins or skirts than with all that mis-matched bullshit on there. What the hell is wrong with some people?

If you can find a lead on stock sideskirts and a front bumper in black (which I know you can get from eBay painted and delivered), I'd say get it.

It looks absolutely horrible as it sits. Good thing they didn't replace the stock rear bumper.

Oh don't worry, it will not stay like that for sure. It's just that price is better than anything I've found in the past 3 months for it being a 99, taken care of inside and out, and even some mods that will stay on the car even with boost.
