One of my co-workers is in a rock band, named Avitus(Grand rapids/Kalamazoo area). They have entered their very first video for their new single on www.musicnation.com in a contest. Out of 800+entries, they are in 21st place so far, with only being in the contest for a few days! Everything was done by them, and i think its pretty darn good for a bunch of amatures with no money lol.. They take the top 25 videos to get into the semi-finals, then the winning band gets a deal with Epic records.. Check out the video and vote if you like it, they appreciate ANY support they get. In order to vote, click the link and you will see blue stars below the video. Up to 5 stars can be voted. Registered and 5 stars from me too. Great video and song, I like it alot although I was expecting the vocalist to have a heavier voice. I'm just used to someone screaming the lyrics out I guess lol. 18th out of 889 now, they're moving up!

Thanks man! Looking at the bands who are in like 1st-5th place, man they sound terrible, i cant believe it lol..Luckily the final vote is up to the judges suposedly...
