I was mucking around on Youtube and found this song by Mastodon. I had heard of these guys a couple times and it seemed like they really seem to divide their audience.. I've seen lots of people that like them, but lots of people that adamantly hate them. But this song is fucking sick, its like a prog song squeezed into 4 totally awesome minutes! The drummer is nuts! The vocals sound cool!
anyway, its one of the most creative metal songs I've heard in awhile.

NO WAY you just linked an Amon Amarth song! Those guys are fucking awesome, I just picked up their big concert DVD set with the three complete shows on it. The CD store was sold out of "with oden on our side" so I had to settle for their old stuff. Oh well.
Vader and Emperor are sweet, I'm not a morbid angel fan though. I had never seen a Vader video before, I think its hilarious how they do the same facepaint thing dethklok does

Man I usually can't stand black metal like that gorgorth-carpathian forest kind of thing but dimmu borgir is actually pretty good. Really over the top with their synths but they are fucking metal, I am diggin that. Deicide is good too, old school. I heard their new album was the shit. Behemoth, ehhh
Glad to know I'm not the only person that FUCKING LOVES that song. Awesome. I can completely understand why you wouldn't dig the shit out of Behemoth if you weren't into Morbid Angel. They're two of my favorite bands. Also, any song off of the last three Dimmu albums is fucking awesome (Death Cult, Puritanical, Spiritual Black Dimensions).
it's catchy, and I heard it the first time in a very poignant time for me. it stuck. Same with "Love?."

I saw them live, they rock the house pretty good. All of their songs sound almost 95% the same though.
Yea i kinda like bury your dead. its true about their songs sounding the same tho. Not so much on their new album, but still, kinda... there like hatebreed in that respect
