well, my car just turned off in the middle of the highway. my pussy ass friend was too drunk and scared to help me push it from the far right lane of the highway to the side. so i go back in to try and see if it turns on and i look in my rearview mirror to see cars flying past by and swerving out of the way. yes i know it was dumb of me not to let the car roll to the side of the highway but that was because after realising that the car wouldn't turn back on i had no chance of making it over a steep slope onto the side. the highway was sort of going uphill. anyways i almost got crushed by an suv that decided to swerve out of the way the last second. how fucking dumb can people get honestly, u could see my blinkers a mile away and they never slowed down. anyways right after i almost got crushed i ran out of the car off the fucking highway cause i was so scared and waited for cops to come. cops came and put their lights on so cars actually started slowing down. we pushed it off to the side and i went back in to see what was wrong and i noticed that whenever i turn the key to on position or try and crank the car i can't hear my walbro making any noise. could it be the pump? i just had it installed a week ago. or could it be because i had no FCD? i wasn't really boosting cause the car cuts at 2-3 psi anyways and im still waiting for my missing link. so i call a flatbed to come and tow it and the guy doesnt have those pieces of wood to put under the tires because the car was pretty low. anyways we couldn't get it on cause i didn't want the guy to rip the front bumper off just to tow it back home so i left it sitting on the side. sorry for the long boring post and yes i know i have bad english. anyhow its about 3am so ima go smoke me a splizzy and relieve some stress.

What year is your car? My friend has a 95 and had that happen to him, car just died while driving and when he turned the key to the "ON" position, the "Check Engine" light wouldn't illuminate. Turned out to be the ECU was dead so it wouldn't power on his fuel pump or anything that the ECU controlled.
Just letting you know in case your situation is similar.

Let's hope so.
You should not be driving that car with a turbo installed unless you have a FCD installed. Period. Just because the car cuts out at 2-3psi doesn't mean a door closes and that turbo isn't pushing air into the cylinders. If you're in gear and the tach is anywhere above ZERO rpm, you're still running air through there. Hot air and a little fuel vapor left in the system. Theoretically, there is an instant, when fuel cut hits, where you are going to be running excessively lean.
Basically, the FCD is installed as a requirement. If your turbo system isn't complete, you have no business driving the car, imo. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to learn you've burned something up.
Good luck to you. Use your head next time. You could have been killed or, even worse, had someone plow into the back of your broke-dick car on the highway and been crippled for life. Then you'd have to spend the rest of your life paying someone else's medical bills. Ain't no "spizzy" can make your problems go away. Man up and get that shit fixed.

lol its a "splizzy" and without it, i woulda probably left my house and walked back to the highway at 3am to try and get my car fixed. but i know it was super dumb of me to drive without an fcd in the first place. anyhow im gona find out whats wrong with it tomorrow. any idea's on what i coulda fried? all i know is that the walbro doesn't make a noise like it should be when the key is turned to on position. either that or the ecu is toast.
