Don't you just love summer? I'd rather it be hot than cold any day of the week. Hell, I don't even use my A/C in my car when it's like this.

I hate the summer.

The only thing I like about it is the free time.

Flippin Texas heat.

I prefer the season "Fall".

I'm ready to move someplace cool and green. I watched some in-car footage from video.yahoo.com/video/search?p=STPR&x=33&y=14 this weekend and, let me tell you, trees never looked so cool.

I hate the Midwest weather. I want to live out in AZ or something. I went out there for a week and didn't ever want to come back to Iowa. I think I would be the only one in AZ in the middle of the summer with my windows down and actually enjoying myself.

Turn your oven on to about 120*. Wait for it to warm up. Kneel down in front of it and open the door. That, sir, is exactly what it feels like every time you walk out the door in Phoenix.

It does cool down to mid-80s at night, but not until around 4-5am. Last week, one night, I was working on an engine at 9pm with a fan and mister set up running. It was still 102. :die

At least it's dry heat and not really humid like it is here. Humid weather sucks.

Humidity certainly does suck. You sweat for no apparent reason and it never feels cool, but I got thinking about it...

If it's 95* and the humidity makes it *feel like* 107*, how is that better than when it's 107* and still feels like 107*? I guess it's just not sticky. emoji

(Still sucks.)

Would you rather be in a sauna or a steam room emoji

Houston is on average 3-7 degrees cooler than SA, but a lot more humid. I got to the point where I couldn't stand it anymore. I'll opt for dry vs humid any day, especially when you throw in the rust factor on a car from 1969.

More people should work while they are in school so they aren't the typical broke college student so I "golf clap" for that. Still plenty of time to enjoy yourself and party but to many people waste away at college.
