I've been getting serious about upgrading my fuel system lately, and it is just seeming impossible money-wise. I just feel like if I spend money to upgrade, I'm neglecting something that needs to be taken care of. Maybe my 1g is just a peice of shit. How do you guys get the money to mod? (Other than having a full time job that pays descent)

Get your priorities straight and chip away at what you need, first things first.
There's probably not too many people who can just go and buy EVERYTHING they need at once. Esp when it comes to a 16 yr old DSM...

I used to do side jobs, installing marine electronics on boats, 50 bucks an hour under the table and its still 40 bucks cheaper then what every other marine charges.

The best thing to do is lay out a plan and just by piece's over a period of time. I've had pieces for my fuel system sitting in the garage for about 1.5 years now and still haven't bouoght everything (I've been buying bits of other projects too, but you get the idea)
The hardest thing for me to accept and one of the ideas that I believe marks a point of growth is when I finally accepted that you can't buy everything all at once!
