They better do it cuz I am tired of looking at the same old car stereos... I don't think I have seen any new tech in car stereo in a while. I think I have not seen anyhting new since they came up with the dot matrix display that can play cartoons... so boring.

i'm always interested in CES. if i live anywhere near there i'd prolly go but sadly i hafta just check-up on the new releases and whatnot online. as far as the car audio industry i think ipod integration is still a pretty hot market as there haven't been any really exceptional products as of yet. as the market for ipods has grown enormously over the past year or two, whoever comes up with an ideal solution for car integration stands to make a lot.
i'm hoping to see some spiffy new decks as well as i think i'll finally be getting around to upgrading my audio this year. probably a lot more companies will be sporting some pretty color lcd screens as the technology improves and gets cheaper.
