Sold my last eclipse a few months ago. I come to hang out and help where I can, and generally just chew the fat.

One day I'll own another 2gnt (I still have a gang of parts laying around for one), just can't afford it right now with the cougar, mustang, busa, gsxr600, and yukon.

I was eclipse free for about 1.5yrs. Gave it to my bro-in-law since his car died and he and my sis had money issues at the time. Well about 2months back he blew the tranny and didn't want to fix it so I got the thing back. Fixed the tranny and now the ole GS is my beater.

152k miles and still going. Although it burns a little to much oil and idles at about 1.5-2k rpms while coasting with the clutch in and doesn't settle down till you complety stop then it drops to about 800rpms where it should be. If i cared enough I might fix the issues but I don't

I'll never let her go. I might park her for a long time, but I love that car. There's just something about your first new car, ya know?

I've also got the Galant and get to roll around in Vanessa's 99 Amigo 4x4. We're hoping to do something like this to it by the end of the year.

Her's looks like this one. Same year and model. The major mods done to this thing are a 3" lift, bumpers, a set of 285/75R16 tires, and a sweet Line-X paint job. That's right. Line-X. Pretty tough trucks, these Amigos...

Thats... actually... pretty damn cool. because its different. lately ive been pissed off because theres never anything new anymore. same old shit. day in, day out. until we die. on a positive note, i invested in some tires recently because mine were starting to suck, and i ended up with some all season performance tires, im still rolling 14's so they ended up being $65 a piece. Got a repreve from winter this week and they saw some dry pavement and holy shit. i am in love with my car again. those touring tires i had, had ALOT of sidewall flex (on 70's series tires... who knew? lol) that i was blaming on my car. I have almost NO body roll now. i love it. its like im actually getting to feel what my springs, struts, strut tower braces and rear sway bar were SUPPOSED to feel like.

sold my 2gnt about a year and a half ago,

now i daily drive a 2000 ranger(waiting for a mustang 5spd trans, then that will be a blown 5.0)

also have a, yes, flame away, turbo civic. don't worry though, no rice here. fully built motor/turbo kit, tuned to 16psi on pump. runs 12.0-12.2

in search of a new 2g....

1998 GS with hrc stage 2, HID 6000k conversion kit, AEM UEGO wideband, sfmu, ml, prokits, Greddy warning gauges: egt, boost gauge, and oil pressure, apexi tt, haydans tranny cooler, costum dp, groundwires, dynotune fp gauge. gst muff, turbo spoiler
Boostin since Aug 03.

nothing like driving with the windows down and the music low: i love hearing the turbo spool, swwwhhhttt!!!!

i see a lot of posts of people who still own a 2gnt. i still have mine, its just in storage. as of thursday ill have an 06 evo IX :o I still love my car though, and drive it through the summer. Otherwise its all about the 1g through the winter, and soon the evo IX!!!

The GST just got her 14b and she's waiting a couple weeks for the strips to open up.

sometimes i wish i woulda kept her, but i had to get rid of one car and it was the least reliable. incidently, i ended up getting 2 other vehicles after hahaha
