ok im going a little nuts with the posting..sorry guys and gals..I did it!...all apart now..I cut the bumpstop in half..Here is the problem what half do I use? the smaller part that sits on the strut or the fatter end that use to be the top! im thinking the top because the smaller bottom piece doesnt want to lock itself on the small nut thingy thats on the strut that acts like a stop for the bumpstop..and the top fatter piece will rest on the nut thingy on the strut..sorry for the retard talk emoji and if you post back send me your email incase I have some more dump ass questions..im going on 3 hours now for one strut so far..good thing its a long weekend! you can send me an email and no I dont have IM proDMD@msn.com

Yes - Keep the Bigger top portion.

I installed a set Of Eibach Pro-Kit for my 98 Spyder GS and the Eibach instruction sheet shows to cut the smaller (Bottom) part of the bumpstop and keep the Bigger (top ) section.

Glad you got it out. You should of did what I did. I had a friend with a compressor and air tools. Loosening bolts were No problems.

Just had to be careful when we tighten things to not over tighten and break a bolt or something.

I just install a set of Eibach Rear Chamber kit and it would of been impossible if I had to do it by hand. Those bolts are on tight.

Later,
