alriight, so i know the difference between lowering spings and coilovers since ive had both....First i got Sprint 2" lower and was pretty happy with them, expect they settled wierd (the front seemed higher than the back)...because of this, i cut the fronts, and to make a long story short, i eventually racked up enough money (depressed about the crappy ride from cutting) bough cheap coilovers..lets not point any fingers but lets say they start with an "M" and end with "atrix"...so now you know my pain....my question goes as so.....ive ben driving with tokicos on these "coilovers" and have had enough....i really miss the comfort of my lowering springs but cant see myself driving with anything other than a 2 inch drop with an even drop all the way around (something SPrint springs didnt give me)...thus i am considering H&R race springs (or Eibach SPortlines, havent decided yet). Is there a comfort difference between a 2" lowering spring (specifically H&R race springs) and highly rated coilvers, say Skunk2 or Ground Control?

I have had the H&R sports and skunk2 coilovers. They H&R's have a much more smoother ride by far, because the spring rate is not so high. If you want height adjustability, then I would get skunk2's or ground control. For normal driving (if you never adjust the height) then H&R's should be good.

yeah skunk2s are pretty stiff good for racing, when I watch my car autox on video tape there is hardly any body roll.
