expecially on my front tires. my dad is goin to get me some but i'll prolly have to pay him back at the end of the summer, i'm looking on tirerack rite now, any suggestions? i would really like the bfgoodrich drag radials, but i don't want them to go bald next month either. so i'm leaning toward either the gforce or maybe a potenza (my dad has those on his s2000 and they grip really well).
ideas? ps i peel out alot even when i'm not trying to but that is partially b/c my tires are so bald at this point. and it looks like the tires i want don't come in the 14" sizes, maybe i should find some gst rims forsale cheap.

the best budget performance tires out right now are the Falken Azenis and the Kumo Ectsa 712s! Haha but I've never used em on my car. I have Potenza RE9XXX i forget the rest. 220 treadwear A traction A temp. They are sticky as hella and pretty quite. haha can't drift with these tires either they bite very hard, but pretty safe for taking the corner at erm sub legal speeds bwahaha.
I suggest you go look at some tire shops for tires. That's what I always do mega cheap, just make sure you check the condition of the tires.

kumho's are suck tires. those bridgestones on your dad's s2k are good but they won't last you to the end of the summer. tehy wear extremely fast. see if you can pick up some yokohama AVIDS. they're discontinued but if any place still has them they're gonna blow them out for a good price. i have them and they're awsome. if you can't find avids then look for the tire that replaced the avids. it's called the A550. you will want the v rated one so the tire you ask for is the A550V. these will grip really well do good in the wet and won't break your dad's wallet, since you have to pay him back and all. drag radials are gonna be shitty for daily driven car. don't think about those till you have spare rims for draggin. falken's are ok but won't last as long as the yok's and aren't as good in the wet since they're designed for dry traction more than wet(large tread blocks and curvy narrow siping). if you wanna get a good tire look into michelins. they're by far the best. i would look at pilot sports or pilot sport A/S's (all seasons) if you still need more choices and i really hope you don't look at dunlop sp5000's and sumitomo htrz's any of those will do great.

If you can get a hold of some GST wheels, take a look at the G-force KDW's. Tirerack has the 205/55-16 on sale right now for $95. You'll be hard pressed to find a better performing tire at that price. They are normally $149.

most of the tires you guys talked about are for 16" rims and up, i'm on the stockers rite now. either way i went to a tire shop and got some bfgoodrich radial t/a's, i've been running around at 3psi lately and haven't even churped them, it's nice. of course i haven't tried to either and no running thru 1st gear. either way i only have to pay 1/2 (thx dad), the total thou was 450 which included the tires at 75 a piece and an alignment at about 60... thx for the help, i'll get back to you guys w/ the 14"s, i mite be lookin into getting 2 wheels for dragracing with.
