Just need to know how many degrees of positive camber correction will I achieve with the "fifteen dollar" bolt and washer fix for the rear suspension. Currently the left is out -2.32 and the right -2.85. If this fix won't give me enough positive correction, then I won't mess with it... I'll go ahead and order the Ingalls kit. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks

I'm taking a good guess here and say if you use the 4 washers in the mod, i'd say a good full 1 positive degree. I wouldn't think it's any more than that, but don't know for sure...

Its not enough to correct your camber. Mine is way off too so i did the 15 dolla camber fix as a temporary thing, just to save my tires a bit. It looks better but not perfect.

I appreciate the feedback... Will probably go ahead with mod just as temporary until I order the other kit. Sadly, the camber had already killed two tires before I decided to address the problem. 215/35/ZR18's aren't exactly cheap. Guess I learned an expensive lesson on putting things off.

The real camber kits come with brackets and things that distribute the force evenly. To correct my camber problem I would have to use like 8 washers... and Im pretty sure the bolts would snap or pry themselves out of the holes. Or maybe not, they might be just fine but I would rather not take that chance

Jason your in the same boat as I am. I am using the 4 washer set up on my driver side and a 4 washer on top and 6 washer on bottom on the passenget side. Seems to helped out a bunch, although I am probly going to order the RRE kit for like 40 bucks this week. I am pretty sure it comes with all the proper equipment to adjust +2 degrees safely.

Where can I get the RRE kit, or at least some info on it? The only kit I was informed about was Ingalls (I knew there were others, just couldnt locate any)
The front kits are made by Specialty Products. They are an offset bushings for the upper control arms. You need to remove the upper control arm pivot (not the whole arm) and press the stock bushings out on a press. The new offset bushings slide right in. The price of $110 is to do the entire front end of the car.
The rear kits are spacers and longer bolts that spaces the upper rear control arm out from the body to correct about 2 degrees. They are set up to correct for the amount of lowering you would get with the Eibach Pro-Kit springs. If additional washers are used, you can get a little more positive. Price is $40 for the entire rear of the car.
Most tire wear problems are caused by not having an alignment performed after changing the height of the car. As the tie rods travel through an arc with any height change, the toe in of the tires change. This must always be re-adjusted with any height change. Most guys see the camber being negative and think that is the major cause of the excess wear on the inside tires. It is actually caused by the tires toeing out when the car is lowered. This will clean the tread off the inside of the tire faster than anything.
