About a month and a half ago I replaced the brake pads and bought a new rotor and turned the other one...I have had no problems on the right side new rotor...and when I turned the other one it looked good but ever since then well it didn't for a day but it has since then...the left size (turned rotor) it squeaks really bad sometimes sounds like it is grinding...stops when the car stops so I think it is the brakes plus feels like it...but could the rotor be warped or what...it still feels smooth touching it...I don't see any scrapping or anything...I have no idea but it is driving me crazy...

haha, i have the same prob. i upgraded my front pads, and didnt touch the rotors. i get the same grinding/scrapin noise when cummin to s stop.

the rotors are supposed to be resurfaced when u swap pads, seein as how your new rotor didnt need to be, and your old one did, and u have the prob on the old rotor, there is your problem.

even tho i get the scrapin/grindin noise, i have had an increase in stoppin/brakin power w/the new pads... once i get around to it, i will swap out the old rotors, but i can live w/it for now...

i just hope there isnt any safety things i hafta worry about
