Hey I just installed my Eibach Pro-Kit 1.6" Front & Back on my 98
Eclipse Spyder and it looks Sweet. Before I could put my whole fist
in the fender well (Huge Gap). Now I can only put three fingers. I
wish it was a little lower but that's OK.

I bought 1 set of Eibach Rear Camber Kit (There's two brackets in
the box). Apparently each wheel needs two bracket (I think since there's two brackets there). So I think I need to buy two set. This sucks cuz it's $85.00 each/set.

I got it from www.overboost.com and they said I only need one set
for the rear and one set for the front....Which Now is a LIE.

Has anyone install this Eibach Rear Camber Kit. Do you need two sets
(4 brackets total - 2 brackets per wheel)

I'm thinking of returning it and getting the $15.00 Rear Camber Kit
Mod. No way I'm spending $190.00 for a rear camber kit. I already
spent $207.00 for the springs.

I called/email www.tirerack.com and they have the Eibach Camber Kit
for $86.00 and they say you only need one set for both wheels???

If you take off your rear wheel and look, you'll see two brakets -
one on the left side and one on the right side of the spring. Do I
change both of these brackets. If so then I need 4 brackets = 2 sets
of Eibach Rear Camber Kit. I'm so confuse.

So I drove home after installing the springs and everything looks
tight. I didn't do an alignment yet.....actually everything looks
really good. Tire's look really straight. Do I need an Alignment?

I got 16" Chrome Concept Neeper "Neptune" 16x7 rims now with
225/50/16 Pirelli P7000 Super Sport Tires. I'm thinking of going
with 17" rims with 215/45/17 Kumo Tires. Will this make the car look
lower....Remove more of that fender gap. I really want to be able to
only get 1 finger between the wheel and fender.

Will these springs settle down and lower the ride a little more. I
notice that on the Driver Side both the front & rear wheel have a
gap of (3 finger - Very tight - barely fir 3 fingers) and on the
Passenger Side both the front & rear wheel have a gap of (3 finger -
Can easily fit 3 fingers). Will this settle down more.

Any Help would be appreciated.

Dude, people are gonna think you're nuts for paying that much for REAR camber kits. I would return it right away and get the $15 kit. If anything, at least spend $40 tops for the RRE camber kit. I didn't even bother reading your entire post when I saw what you paid for a rear camber kit. And for your information, rear camber kits are nothing but longer bolts and washers. If you've taken apart your upper rear mounting arm to see where the camber kit would go, you'll realize how effective mere washers can be.

These modifications all cost enough without throwing it away needlessly on rear camber kits. Spend your money wisely.

Where do I get this rear camber kit from RRE. Do they have a website or phone number that I can call.

I don't know if it's the same or not. But I have a 1998 Eclispe Spyder. The Springs for the Spyder is the same part number as for the AWD Eclipse GSX. So I assume all the Rear Camber Kit are the same for our cars.

Never Mind. I just check the Eibach Rear Camber Kit Box and it said will fit 95-99 Eclipse (All).

I just got an email back from www.tirerack.com and they said that they sell their Eibach Rear Camber kit for $85.00 and the kit is for "Per Axle" So that means I only need one kit. Which then means I only install one of the Bracket per wheel. Now I'm really confuse. Maybe I should just return it and get the RRE kit or the $15 Mod at Home Depot.

Hey - Thanks Everyone for the Help.

Just called overboost.com and Eibach Tech Support. Found out that the kit was suppose to come with 4 brackets. overboost.com screwed up and only sent me one set (2 brackets).

So after I spent 30 minutes talking with every supervisor/manager/vp/ceo from overboost.com they are sending you the 2ns set of brackets and taking 50% of the price. So i'm getting it for $45 for Eibach Rear Camber Kit (Not bad since it's made by Eibach)

Just go to show you. It's not what you know - It's who you know that counts. I gave them some lame excuse that I had to take the car to a "Car Show" and this missing Camber Kit is really messing me up. I need it to "Show My Car", ect....

LOL - Suckers. So now I just have to wait. The springs look really nice. I'm planning on getting these 17x7 rims w/ 215/45/17 on soon:



Hopefully this will eliminate more of that fender well gap. (I can fit 2 1/2 fingers in the fender well now on all for corners.
