I'm looking for a good, cheap set of coilovers. I want Skunk2 but theyre kind of expensive. Any other suggestions? Are arospeed coilovers any good? Also a guy i know said i wouldnt have to change my struts because they just rest in the coilover. thats not true is it?

you wouldn't have to change your struts, though many advise it. it isn't necessary however, like your friend said the coilovers just go over your stock struts. you need to get a camber kit however if you plan on lowering it a decent amount or else you're gonna blow your struts and need new ones anyways. as far as a cheap coilover, Maxspeed is probably what you're looking for.

Hey man, I've had AroSpeed coilovers for over a year now and they're pretty good coilovers. They're somewhat on the soft side, which is good for daily driving since they're not stiff or bouncy at all.
You don't have to replace your stock shocks, but for the best ride I would recommend buying at least a front set of Tokico Illuminas if you can.
