Howdy all, Its been a long time since I have visited these boards. Many of the names I remember are no longer here or find it hard to find the time to post like I do. I have a question I can almost guarentee has been answered in the past.
GSX rear calipers...
Will they fit on my stock 16's on my talon in the rear? I want to do the rear brake conversion and would like to just use gsx calipers instead of the normal gs/esi rear calipers.

Welp there we go Thanks
I knew there was a reason for the writeup to include all gs/esi/gst/gsx for the rear.
On the front is there alot of modding that needs to be done to use the front GSX calipers. I am just totally unimpressed with the braking ability of my car. I now find that after 1 run and slowing down from about 110 that my brakes will screetch and make almost a grinding noise for the next few days on all normal stops. This is totally annoying. I have taken off all my brakes and both rotors only to find that the pads were still in good condition and that there was nothing actually grinding even though it sounds like it is.

Just avoid the very early GSX rear brakes. They will fit correctly, but are impossible to find replacement pads and rotors. If they're paired with some vented rotors, you'll know you have the early ones that should be avoided.

well you might have glazed your pads dude. I was racing an integra type r on the freeway one night and I need to brake really hard from 120 and bam glazed my pads, damn things faded a lot afterwards.
I'm in the process of doing dual piston upgrade for my car, I got the brackets so far but some dude flaked out on me and didn't send me the calipers so now I gotta find someone else.
Yes the dual piston calipers will bolt right up at least from what I hear. They are much bigger than out calipers too. check out www.vfaq.com they have a good write up on it.
