Do i need to cut the bumpstops in half to install the pro-kits?
Front or back, or both?

NO you do not cut them. You use spring compressors to take off the springs and simply slide the bumpstops out the big end. Release pressure on the spring compressor on each side little by little. Hope that helps.

Did you get the springs new? They should include an instruction sheet saying if you need to cut the bumpstops. With my H&R's, i got about a 2" drop in the front, and i had to cutt off about a little over a half an inch of the bumpstop. I do believe the prokits are a little less in the front, so you may not have to cut any, but i'm not too sure. I didn't have to cut the rear ones at all with a rear drop of about 1.6 inches. I hope this helps..If in doubt, i would cut like a half inch off the fronts, and the rear just to play it safe. It shouldn't hurt anything..

Yes, cut the bumpstops in half with any lowering springs. RRE recommends to cut them even with pro-kits for more travel. It doesn't hurt anything, and just allows more travel.

ya cut them in half... it wont hurt anything esp if you have aftermarket shocks
