#8128, "rattleing/knocking from wheel area"

any ideas? then i'm just driving straight there's a intermittent rattleing from the driver side from wheel area. i just changed my brakes (which are by the way squeeking a little still, pissing me off b/c i don't think it's the pads, i think it's something else rubbing the wrong way). either way the noise started before i changed the brakes, so that's not it. but when i make a hard left turn there is a knocking noise too. suspension wise all i have are some lowering springs.

Check if ur lugs are tight when u put the wheels back on. That's what it took to remove the sound that I kept hearing too, after Dan put in my springs. Happens when ur going straight. Gets worse after awhile. Hope its that simple...

hey,
after going to satan for my balljoints I came back and had a rattling/knocking noise on my pass. side wheel area. turns out the didn't torque the lugnuts correctly b/c I could turn three of them with my hand! I just tightened them down and now the sound is gone.

I think that that might be my problem too. After I got that recall done, i heard that same noise from the drivers front tire side area. I kno i only have 3 out of the 5 nuts that are suppose to be there, hehe i need to get that fixed. Am I puttin my self in danger? I only have 3 nuts on in one tire, and like the peg is gone that yur suppose to screw the nut on
EDIT: but then again I dont know if thats the problem, cuz I dont hear it when I push the gas, only when i take my foot off the gas, i hear the tickin noise

I can't tell you if it is 100% the problem , but that is the way mine was. When you accelerated there was no sound but declerating in gear or while pushing the cluth the knocking/ thumping noise occured, I'd say get you some lugnuts.
