I heard that if you buy a compressor you can lower and raise your car with the push of a button if you have airbags. does anybody know how much this costs or how it works. Also how would the ride be. I want it to be a decent height for daily driving and ill slam it when racing?
You don't want air bags for racing. Ive heard the rear of your car wouldn't react well off the line. They are basically for showroom use, but if you wanted to attempt a daily driver it would cost roughly 1000 bucks, for a used kit. A new one is much more. You'd need an air compressor in the trunk of your car, switches, lines running to each 'bag' or 'cylinder' if your going with air cylinders... The ride quality is great, but there can be problems with hoses, leaks, running gauges reading psi and blah blah....basically it aint gonna happen.
Everything I said about them is what I've heard from others - specifically Greg (Vector_Racingb)-- he is selling his air cylinder kit. If you put money and time into it, you could have is nice, but it's not a daily driver kinda thing..
