Hehe...I ordered that bar about a year ago and after looking at how it mounted, I sent it right back. I have cruise also and didn't want to deal with it.

well, the cruise control is held on by three bolts to the firewall...

i junked the lower bolt, and used the top two for droppin it down about an inch and a half..

what i did was use two peices of sheet metal, about 6 inches long, and an inch and a half wide. folded it in half (for strength) and drilled holes thru it. i lined up the holes with the holes on the cruise control mounting bracket, and bolted them up. then, i put the bracket back into the car, and marked where i needed to drill the new mounting holes. took it out, and drilled two more holes.

now my bracket sits lower, and i have a good amount of clearance for the bar...

u ahve to make sure that all the things taht connect to the cc arent messed up in any way.

good luck. i will take pics soon, but dont count on seein em for at least a cuple weeks... unless i can get a digicam

Im doing mine tonight but what I was going to do was just enlarge the holes on the CC bracket so that I can slide it down a bit. that should be all thats needed. Ill post again tomorrow if I find a different way. But other than that I love the look of this bar and it seems to be a nice quality bar with a good chrome finish on it.

I did installed mine yesterday...and did my write-up for it...I didn't have to move my CC out of the way...it's still in the same place...and I also have the Washer Fluid in the same spot (just used a spacer to space it out a bit)...I posted it in here somewhere...
