Most people including myself have the generic aluminum strut bars with steel end caps. They are not nearly as strong as the steel bars that RRE has. We can only use the rear one though because the front is for turbo models only. The RRE one is way stiffer than the cheap aluminum ones we all have...

Sprint front and RRE back! The diff in turbo and non is the slot for the battery hold down stud on the strut tower.

Umm you can switch it from turbo to non turbo by just flipping the bar around.

Why wouldn't the RRE bar fit also? I've seen it b4 on a 4G63 bay but it mounts on the same points. The RRE one is much like the Neuspeed bar but for the traditional stock tower mounts.

Oh yes and some companies like Tsudo make double bar strut bars for our cars also.

I was under the impression that the RRE front bar only fits the turbo because of the way they designed it, which is also why they say turbo only. They were thinking of designing a 3 pt strut bar for the nt, but I think they didn't get around to it.

And yes, for traditional aluminum strut bars, you can usually flip it around, so the lettering is upside down. That's how mine is. It's a turbo AC Autotechnic strut bar.
