For all of you guys that have the skunks-
how long did it take to change the height? How hard was it? I have a 1.5" drop in front and 2" in the back. I originally did it because i was gonna do autocross and wanted the car flat, but i wanna change the ride height to 1.75" all the way around. I've never actually tried to change the height and just wanna know what to expect. I would look at the directions, but the box is taped up in the attic emoji Some days i think i should've just gotten springs, but oh well..........

The springs on the coilovers rest on two locking discs. The discs are on threads. Use the two coil tools (They came with your kit) and adjust the discs.

Before adjusting, what I always do is loosen the discs, becaause at this point they have kind of 'fermented' together. Turn the top disc counter clockwise, and the bottom disc clockwise at the same time to loosen them. Once loosened, to raise the car continue spinning the top discs counter clockwise and it will 'climb' up the threads. When the spring is at the desired position, spin the bottom disc up to where the top disc is now, and tighten the discs together. To tighten, turn the top clockwise, and the bottom counter clockwise (Opposite of loosening) Do this for each wheel, and lower the car. You will not know exactly how high or low the car will sit without lowering it and checking the gap, if any more adjusting is needed, repeat the steps above.

It really isnt that tough, Just kinda hard to explain through words.

Watch your camber and alignment, Once a new height is set both should be corrected.

Ya chaging the height takes at most 5 minutes at each corner, so 20 minutes total. A lot easier if you have a nice floor jack too.

haha mine never came with the tools (got it used) I just jack the car up and turn that bitch by hand haha. I used a ruler to measure how much of the thread I've used up and make sure they're all the same.

Haha always thought my car wasn't that low. But yesterday I lines up next to a stock GST and I was sittin looking at it, I'm like OMG I'm a lot lower than that. I compared the height of the mirrors and mine was like 1 whole mirror lower haha. Just wanted to point that out since a lot of people don't think my car is lowered. SIGH need sideskirts hehe

Woah how can you truly tighten them without the tools? When you use the tools, it gets really tight, and then to get them apart with the tools takes a bit of strength at first. Are you sure it's safe to just hand tighten them since the two are supposed to lock. Maybe you should try to order some from skunk2. It's a lot easier with the tools too. The way I tighten mine, I couldn't possibly get them loose without the tools.
