I was thinking of getting a strut bar for my car. A few people have told me NOT to get one if my car isnt lowered. They said it would wear my tires and give me a harsh ride. Is this true? I didnt think there was any harm in a strut bar?

uumm, no. Adding a strut bar only helps by reinforcing the suspension. Adding one will not alter the suspension geometry in any way. Basically, they dont know what they are talking about. Quite a few peeps have put strut bars on stock height cars w/ no adverse effects

yeah mine covers the oil cap but you can still get it off. Most oil change places freak when they see it, so I have to show them how to remove the cap. A little annoying but oh well.
