#7349, "Will 225/45/17's fit????"

I just ordered my drag radials from Summit and the closest size to whats on my car was one size wider. Currently I have 215/45's on and just wanted to make sure that 225/45's would fit. Does anyone now? Oh, they are the BFG G-force drag radials by the way....

What rims do u have? I think it depends on the rims. I think 215's to 235's would work fine. Just saying this by deduction. Wait for a second opinion.

Well, according to Whalentire, they will fit fine. That is the size you want to get if you want your speedometer to be as accurate as can be.

I had 245/45/17's on mine with my old rims and they fit just fine. Actually looked really good from behind with the wide ass tires tucking under.

I'd go with 235/40s..i think 225/45s are little too fat and might greatly jack your speedo. Ain't nothing like having some wide ass tires like dem Mustang boys do
