#7319, "figured out ingalls/coilover problem...."

Ok I have arospeed coilovers and the ingalls front camber kit. I had to modify my front fender to allow the upper control to move outward.

The problem was every time I went over a bump I herd a loud knocking noise. I figured it was the upper control arm hitting the top of the fender, but I was wrong. I found out that the top of my shock was hitting the bottom of my spring stabilizer.

So to correct this problem I lowered the shock 3/4" and this gave it more room to move up and down. I also used big washers to hold the poly inserts in place. So far its worked out great. I also had to use a nut and bolt where the bolt goes to clamp the shock in place. but its working out great.

If anyone is having problems you can email me at talon95stang@cs.com

I've been having this problem for a while, but I finally figured it out.
