#7288, "Motor Mount or Motor Mount Inserts?"

Some people have the AF/X Motor Mount...and some have the Energy Suspension Motor Mount Inserts. Which eliminates wheel hop more effectively?

Thanks, Richard

the afx solid mounts will eliminate wheel hop completely from what i've heard. but if you have fillings you wont after you drive around with those for a while. unless your car is full race or you care nothing for comfort then get the energy suspension inserts. there is a very nice write-up in the "things we've seen before" section, if i do say so myself.

I got the ES motor mount inserts. They aren't that bad when it comes to vibrations. If I had to pick the 'one' mod that made a night and day difference (except for turbo), I had to pick the inserts. Most of the time, I can actually peel off now (I'm auto with 17's). The car feels way more responsive during take off. Good luck!!!!!

Yup joshacu is right. The AFX mounts are solid and I think it's a brand new mount, so engine dampening whatsoever. The Energy supsension mounts are just inserts that help strengthen the existing motormounts. The ES mounts are all you need if you not making monster power. They're cheap too emoji bitch to install though.

Just get the inserts, youll be impressed in the difference. The rear is sort of a pain in the ass to get to, but just have some patience and it works out.
