I want to know the possible risks of forcing the valve open on the power steering so no matter how fast the engine spins, I can steer the car. Does anybody know, or done this?

well just to let you know that feature of it getting tighter as it goes faster is pretty handy. If there is no resistance you can't really feel the wheel you might just throw the wheel around and then seriously understeer because your tires just won't take that kind of abuse.
Haha when you don't have powersteering for a day or two and finally get it back it feels so much better, but without powersteering I noticed how much strain I was putting on the tires by turning the wheel faster.
