velox... anyone heard of the quality on these rims? are they good? i have a silver 95 gs, and am thinking about getting these. which do you think would look better on a silver eclipse with a carbon fiber hood? the lip is polished btw:

never heard of velox, but i really like the wheel. I'm not very partial to gunmetal, so my choice is the silver with polished lip.

i've heard on velox b4 from what i understand they are pretty good rims i would go w/ the gunmetal that would be tight, especially since you have a c/f hood

i've said it a million times but i'll say it again. i install custom wheels at work. first of all not all rims are made equal. rims from konig BBS motegi and more popular names are actually very good wheels. they are very light in comparison to size and they balance very well. a cheaper wheels E.G. american racing or epic, are crappy wheels that balance shitty weigh alot more considering they're alluminum and in the case of american racing they bend easily. second. kumho's are shitty tires that's why they can sell them with 17's for 1200 and make it sound like a deal. they're crappy. i see at least 3 times a week someone come in with mail order wheels that came with kumho's usually ecstas with bubbles in the sidewall and in several cases the sidewall completely deteriorating where it meets the tread. also the bottom of the line toyo's are crappy too. alot of them come back ripped apart with half they're tread left.

thanks beefgg for the sig

ok... so, are velox wheels any good? i know not all wheels are created equally; that's why i started this thread. have you worked with these wheels? i have heard a lot of people rave about kumho ecsta. actually, you're the first person i hear to give a negative review of them. are they really that bad? if they are, what tires do you recommend? i am not trying to come back at you, but you really didn't provide any alternatives.
