If you have any idea what I am talking about....

Well instead of using a spring compressor to change the lid and screws and stuff I figured why not just buy another set and than I can change my spring/strut combo a lot easier.

I know what you are talking about but I really doubt it would be worth it. I have no clue how much it runs but you would probably have to get the parts from Satan.

Besides compressing the springs only takes a second and the bolts come off of the strut assembly fairly easily.

I don't think those parts are cheap, and it's not all that hard to use a spring compressor to loosen (takes only e 5 minutes). If you wanted a strictly swap in swap out deal, you'd have to buy all those little parts, the rubber cone thing, the bumpstops, the plate (I think that is pretty expensive because the ground control upper shock mount is like 60 bucks I think). You can rent a spring compressor for free from autozone, or just shoot it towards a trash can as you loosen it. If you have two people, you could do it relatively easily without a spring compressor.

LOL, you guys are funny. Autozone, come on you know we don't have one of those way up in the boonies.

I was hoping under $50 I would just buy them, if not, fug it.

I dont think you even need a spring compressor. Ive heard (havent done it myself) that when you loosen the nut on top the spring mearly hops out, just dont point it at your mug or anything. I mean springs are heavy right?? It isnt going to go too far

Yeah I have been through 5 sets of suspensions so I know about it, but Im sick of running over to my old work place to compress. Would rather pull out, and put new one in instead of having to swap tops and shit.

I did my front and rear spring without a spring compressor. Was a bitch trying to compress the spring myself when it was time to put the top cap thing on again, but it worked.
