#6245, "Squeaking sound when turn.......Help Please"

Here is my problem.
When I made RIGHT TURN (car is moving) for more than half turn, I heard a squeaking sound very loud. So, I try to make a full right turn again when a car is completely stop, there is no squeaking sound. For the LEFT TURN, no problem at all. Anybody has any idea what the problem is. I got 18" 225/40/18 with Tokico Illumina and H&R Race Spring. I also have a Progress camber alingment kit. AFX Pulley.....more. Thank you for all your help in advance.

Not saying for sure...but I had a similar problem when I turned the steering wheel to the extremes it made a loud squeaking sound...thought it might be power steering took it in...they tightened up the belt a little and it hasn't done it since...not absolutely sure though

just tighten up the belts and it should go away.. it may be an early sign that your belts are getting old and need replacing too..

My car has the same EXACT problem. Its really loud, right?? like a metal squeal. I know its not the belts. I though this could be it at first, changed them, squeal is still there. I brought it to the dealership and they told my my springs were causing the axle to rub on my swaybar bushing. But that sounds kinda fishy to me. any body else know what this could be????

Jack your car up a little and spray some wd-40 or liquid wrench etc on the camber kit bushings and see if that helps.

I had the same exact problem, but mine squeeked to either side,
It was the ball joints, I wasnt sure at first so I just took it in to satan to look at it (40 bucks) they said it was the ball joints and Its all free, problem is gone and not a penny paid.
p.s.
They already did the recall on my car two months before this started happening and said they were fine, sealed and greased them but apparently not.
The warranty/recall stay open until they are repaired not just inspected and lubed.

So take it in to the dealership, worst case you have to pay 40bucks or so for the inspection, but they will find out what is wrong.

but go to a trusted dealership..

just to be safe though i would go get the ball joints done cause of the recall. i am getting mine done cause when i turn you can here a squeeking sound. i know it's the ball joints cause when i sprayed some silicone lube on it, it stopped for a few days. go to the dealer and tell them you need your ball joints done cause of the recall.

Hello....Thank you for your opinion.
Anyway, I have changed the ball joints from Mitsu. Dealer about 2-month ago. The problem happened after that about a month later. I'll check with them again.

I had troubles with that and it turned out to be the lower ball joints. The boots around them were torn which caused them to rust and squeak. I got mine replaced for free from the dealer because of the recall

Before I had this car I had money.

First thing, I thought because my alignment is off also.
Then, I went to the shop to get alignment done.
The sound is still there. I'll check with the Mitsu dealer soon.
Right now so busy at work, no time.
Thank you for all your suggestions.

Hey watsup! I'm new to the site so forgive me if I sound like it. I just got my car back from the dealer about 1/2 hour ago and they replaced both lower lateral arms in the front suspension. I was having the same problem (metallic squeal) and now problem seem to be gone. The dealer covered it as part of my warranty.

Uh, I meant they covered it as part of the recall.
