Well first of all coil-overs are adjustable, you can drop da thing on the ground or actually raise it higher if you wanted. Do you ever plan on adjusting the height? (for places that get a lot of snow this might not be a bad idea) Ive also heard that coilovers are noisy as hell. I have no arguments as to why to go for springs, just that the majority of people do. I just ordered my new suspension a few days ago and I chose springs.

i live in Texas. no snow here. and i want to get some 17's instead of the 15's. how far should i drop??

Trust me you should get coilovers. I had springs once and then I switched to coilovers, much happier with the coilovers.

how much is a reasonal price on a coil-over set? what brand should a watch out for?
