Tirerack.com sells Eibach Camber kits which adjust +/-1.0 degrees for $89 for the front, the rear is the same price which seems like a rip to me seeing as how RRE sells rear camber kits for $40. But anyway, $89 is for both right and left, right? Would 1 degree of adjustment be enough for a 'clipse with a 1.5in drop? BTW I've been driving HARD for about 6 months with no camber or alignment and the rear tires have little wear compared to what I've seen on some lowered Eclipses.

I'd try the $15 caber mod on the main 2gnt site... thats what most people on here are doing with drops under 2"

How about the front though (I'm gonna do the $15 mod)? Is $89 Eibach kit for the FRONT a good deal? Is it recommended that an alignmet shop do the install? It's my understanding that the alignment gets all fucked up after install, car becomes almost undrivalbe.

hey alex, from what i understand, with a 1.5" drop, you won't need a camber correction. that's prob why you haven't seen as drastic a tire wear problem as you've seen on other eclipses. i would definitely recommend the alignment though. get that asap. but i would just call tirerack.com and ask them to make sure whether you need it or not. they're REALLY helpful, and they won't just try to rip you off by telling you that you need it when you really don't.

My car has been dropped approximately 1.5" with the prokit and after a year of a good amount of settling, it still hasn't required any type of front camber kit. And this is JUST after another alignment on Monday. I only used the RRE rear camber kit.

But the alignment specialist recommended rotating my tires about every oil change. For some reason, he's really enamoured by my Kumho Supra's! LOL emoji
