I'm looking for a cheap set of coilovers (under $200). Anyone have the AeroSpeed coilovers or any of those cheap brands. Did the coilovers acually work or should I say fit in our cars?

Trickedeclipse has some. When i bought his wheels and tires from him he sold the Coilovers to me for like $50 extra. I took one look at them and sold them for a $150 on dsmtrader...haha. Anyways, they looked cheap to me and I didn't even want to mess with them.
I don't think they would be good for "racing" but hell I dunno. Just from a once over they looked like a headache. I remeber Ticked telling me he stripped the threads on some that he had before the ones he sold me so I wouldn't expect too much out of them if you do end up buying them.
I guess a good point is they seem to have a comfortalbe ride on stock sturts from what I've heard and they drop your car pretty low. How long will they last is the question... Good Luck if you buy them.

Haha if you want cheap coilovers get Weapon Rice coilovers. Like everyone else is tellin ya they're not good for racing cuz they're just plain too cheap. I have skunk2s myself very stiff gotten used on ebay, check ebay out they might have something cheap and worth it for ya.

I got the AroSpeed coilovers and have never had any problems with them. The ride is good and comfortable if your car's a daily driver like mine, but if you're gonna be doing serious racing, it's better to get something stiffer and more expensive.

Yup, skunk2's are really stiff. Good for racing and under 300 bucks. I think Ground Controls are the best since you can pick your spring rates, but they are 400. I would spend the extra 150 or so and get skunk2's over maxspeeds. I can get the skunk2's for 280 plus shipping, which is a decent price, but you may be able to find them cheaper on ebay or somewhere.

i think i have some of the cheapest coil-overs you can buy. I think they are called the "Hi Low Kit". They are 400 lbs out back and 500lbs up front. they are only 4 inches so you can use them on Tokicos. But i really like them. A lot better than Skunks on factory blown shocks. They are pretty stiff.
But i think i just want a set or regular springs cause i really don't ever adjust them and i want a softer, street comfortable ride, and QUIET ride. Plus i need to get rid of my 40 sidewalls.
I have been thourgh stock springs, tenzo springs, skunks coil-overs,OBX coil-overs, and now my new set-up w/ tokicos.

i just got some from ebay and installed them today... they look nice i got them from ebay for 125 bucks i didnt want to pay anything cheaper then that not that bad to install but you need directions from the vfaq
