i'm not sure if this has been posted before but.... does anyone have the "phantom Grip" lsd. its only 299 bucks and seems like it would help a lot with 1/4 mile times. anyone have anything to add

I wouldn't recommend it. From how I uunnderstand it it turns your transmission into a positraction type set up. Which would be good for straight line performancec but not going aorund a corner where the outer wheel has to turn faster.

I have the Phantom Grip.....it works great for stright line driving yes! but like Mike said it doesn't like to work around corners from what I've found out. I do like it on the straight aways emoji However I'm gonna be removing it soon and moving on to the Quafie full LSD diff so my Phantom Grip will be for sale. and before you install one if you beef up the stock (red) springs in the grip I've herd it works even better around corners.

I don't like the idea of having metal-metal wear inside the tranny. If you think you really need an upgraded differential, save your pennies (and nickels and dimes and quarters) and get a Quaife.
