#5837, "Nitto Drag Radials...daily driveable?"

Anyone in here daily drive there car w/ drag radials?
I hear they wear out quickly but I was planning on putting my stock rims on front tires and put Nitto Drag Radials on when I race. I could just switch them everytime I go to the track but it would be nice if I didn't have to change wheels a lot had them when I race on the road also. Im tired of spinning and once I get more power in the next couple months I would like to have some drag radials on there most of time. Thanks

I know Nitrous1997_RS has Nitto Drag radials on his car but I'm not sure he had them on for daily driving. I think he used them for track use only. You might wanta look up his profile and shoot him an e-mail since I haven't seen him around in a while. Good luck.

I daily drove a pair of Nitto Drag Radials. The grip is awesome, got rid of my 3rd gear barks. Hmm...lets see. They lasted me for about 2 months during the nasty hot S.E. Texas summer. emoji

2 months... damn... Although the tires are only like 100 a piece for my stock 16" rims I think I need them to last longer then that. Did u drive your car hard? I wouldn't drive my car hard at all unless I get some races that are worth wasting my tires or if Im at the track. Hopefuly they will last longer if I do that. Thanks guys

yeah, but you'll need new tires in a couple of months.

i wouldn't drive daily in tires built for drag. I'd save them for drag. And yea, they're super soft for grip, and really wear out quick.
