#5171, "Any ideas?"

I bought my first cool thing for my car yesterday. I was gonna get Zenetti wheels from a guy in Cali...but then I came across some 17' chrome Eagle 5-spoke (077 series) for $700. Now...my questions:

1) Any ideas for changing out or custom making centercaps? I'm not diggin the ones that came with them and apparently Eagle doesnt make any different ones.

2) I need tires! I didnt have quite enough to get tires...so I'm looking...pref 215 (or 225) /45/17. If anyone on here has some then I would probably by them...and if not...any ideas for getting some for less than the $550 that DT wants?

Someday I will be worthy of this ever-so-knowledgable and awesome 2gnt forum.

Damn dude I have seen the chrome 077's for like $700 new. Anyways you can buy some tight 17" tires for well under $550 shipped. Look on the net. Try www.tirerack.com

um no kumho's are absolutely shitty i can't tell you how many people come in my work with them split to the belts after only half the tread is gone. no tire should do that. if you need a decent performance tire for cheap look for faulken azenis'

http://www.ocaddict.com

thanks beefgg for the sig

hmmm. decisions decisions. i have actually been looking at those falkens too (i like the tread pattern better...lol) but thanks for the input on the kumho's cuz i was like 2 seconds away from ordering them from tirerack (thanks to all you's who gave me that info too...great prices). what part of the country do you live in? Im in GA, and the climate here is very easy...so im thinking maybe a little easier on tires. its weird how in a situation like this the slightest thing can skew your judgement. currently in first place for tires: falkens...lol...thanks

i dont even think they make that tire for my wheel (17*8) so...back to the kumho's. 369 mostly positive reviews at tirerack cant be all that wrong.
