What I do to get rid of the squeak is put on the compound (sticky stuff) like "Optimus..." said BUT before I put the pads back on I sand them down I little to make them smooth and try to clean the discs to get rid of brake dust. Also make sure you're dics are even and don't have small cuts, ridges anywhere. That usually takes care of the squeakin for a couple of thousand miles.

Well everytime you replace pads, you should always at least turn the rotors, or get new ones. The new pads have to wear in with the rotors at the same time, or braking problems can happen. Squeeling is one of em! Its only like 5-10 bucks or so a rotor to turn em, just do that, and might want to use new pads when you do. I have never really used that anti squeel compound stuff. I did my fronts not long ago, no compound, and no squeel. I got new pads and new rotors when i did it.

It also depends on what kind of pads you got. The real hard performance brake pads such as metalic ones, or even carbon fiber, will squeel some. Usually semi-metalic pads will not squeel.
