For a little background, my pedal felt like mush after some "enthusiastic" driving, and I posted on here and you guys told me to bleed my brakes. Well I did that and it worked great for almost 3 wks and now the pedal is starting to go soft again. Anybody know whats wrong???? My car is still under warranty will this shit be covered by satan??

Dammit I just cant help it, but I dont think I am going that fast. Would upgrading the brake lines help??? Is there a brake fluid out there that wont heat up so damn quickly??

Think about getting better brakes and stainless steel brake lines. Merely employing a thicker brake fluid isn't your answer.

Get the Stillen 4 piston big brake upgrade, its sweet as hell, no more brake fade! They have hugh slotted and cross drilled rotors with 4 piston calipers and stainless steel lines. If you want to work the back brakes over too, get the Stillen cross drilled rotors and stainless steel lines and get better pads... I have had great success with them.

I think it may be more serious than brake fluid though. I drove my dad's honda civic (LX) yesterday and it braked harder than I can in my Eclipse. I think it was a gradual thing, but something has to be wrong

You must drive like my mom, fly up on shit then hit the brakes really hard, cause my mom has a 2000 jeep cherokee and her brakes have already done that once.

Nope I actually brake pretty early for everything since I warped my rotors and had to get up off of 100 bucks to fix it

While you are at a stop light (stop sign) do you notice that the pedal is firm at first, but softens as you sit there? It could be your master cylinder.

Not sure if it is covered by warranty, but they run around $50.
