#4376, "Widest tire on an 8'' rim?"

I am getting tired of these BF Goodridge Scorcher T/A 215/35/18 tires and they're not wide enough for the rims anyways...

How wide of a tire can I get on an 18 x 8? Is there much of a performace loss going from 35 series to 40 series? It might fill up my wheel well a little better with 40 series, 35's are like solid rubber, I feel like I'm driving a go-cart emoji vroom-vroom...

Think I could fit some 235 40 series?

definitely go to da 40's or 45's if you're feeling froggy. ya also gotta be careful cause throwing something wide like a 235 or something like that might rub like 20's on a geo metro. i'd say 225 cause that's prob what i'm going with on my 1st gen.

My car had 19's for awhile, but they rubbed... If I can fit a 235 on an 8'' rim and still look good, thats what I'll do probably. Need as much traction as possible.
