My friend is asking me how do you REALLY install upper strut tower bars. Do you jack up the front/back, and just but the bar on, or do you turn the bar so that it pushes the struts apart while the struts are in the air?

heeeeelp...need clarification..

Leave the car on the ground. Unbolt the two or three bolts from the top of the strut tower. Put the plates on the strut tower and tighten the bolts back down. Then adjust the bar to the length so it fits bolted to the pltaes and tighten the bar to the end plates. You're done. Very easy. Shouldn't take more than ten or fifteen minutes.
