Does anyone know if the balljoint in the rear toe control arm can be replaced independently of the whole arm? The ones on my parts car are toast and I'd rather not pay for 2 whole arms.

If you aren't sure what I'm talking about, it's the one that's circled.

Check tuners bro - I vaguely remember a thread where there was talk of the front upper ball joint being the same, but I could be wrong.

If you need to buy them, get them from http://www.mitsubishiparts.com/oe_parts_catalog.html?

It is almost half the price there compared to Mopar's price.

Yeah, I did some searching there. All I could find was that the 1G front upper and rear balljoints are the same. No confirmation on if the 2G is the same or not.

I went ahead and ordered the arms through my Dodge store down the street. ~$60 each. Gotta love corporate employee discounts.

Good call. I cancelled my order with Dodge. The cost difference was enough that I can get new eccentric bolts and hardware.

Edit: I remembered that I have a friend that works at one of the local Mitsu dealers. He ordered everything for me at his cost.
