I have powerslots with axxis metal master pads, and the stopping was a noticable difference from stock, so i would suggest them. As for the powerstop i have no personal experience with them, but i've heard bad stories about cross-drilled rotors cracking. But if you want powerstop, talk to someone with cross-drilled.

My rotors warped for the second time at 63k miles. I ordered slots but received stops. I didn't feel like returning them because they were better than what I had. Also got metal master pads. So I've got new rotors and pads all the way around. Much better than stock. Good initial feel. Really boosted my confidence when stopping. They're going to be a little noiser than stock when you brake doing 70 mph - like getting off the interstate.

From what I've heard, go with slots, but I haven't had a problem with stops. I've had them for about 1000 miles. I've heard stainless steel brake line will help pedal feel. Not as mushy. Either way, you'll improve braking. I wanted to get them for a while but I thought I'd wait until I had a problem with my existing rotors. If I had the money to spend for anything, I'd probably get an AEM cai.

Hope this helps. btw I want to get strut bars front and rear for a 98 gs... any suggestions?
Thanks

thanks for the info-i have powerslots on the way.
as far as strut bars, just get the no-name ones from ebay, thats what i did and they work just fine. Theres not a lot of sience behind them, solid aluminum bars with brackets bolted to the end. the only real difference is marketing - 160.00 for name brand, 40.00 for no-name brand. same material, same basic design!
my opinion...

I have powerstops and have had no problems with them except for some reason now, everytime i wash my car or it rains and water gets on them, they turn rusty orange. It looks so bad. But my metal masters just get rid of that shit after 5 mins of driving

Hey Tim Im gonna try and ship those pads for you tommorrow, Tuesday. Thanks for ur patience!
