I am sure this has been stressed before but... I am definately going to get some Skunk2 adjustable coilovers, but I am unsure of what shocks to go with.

I am drag racing now, but that is just to pass the time until I get my car set up for autox and circuit. Thanks guys.

It's not wise to lower on agx shocks.

I am rollin in on 16" dubs (ultra-light enkie's) I think I will be low enough for daily driving at stock height. I was leaning towards tokico anyways, just wanted that deciding factor.

the body of the AGX is too long for our cars to do any lowering on, you'll bottom out with the smallest drop.

go for the illuminas

I've got the agx struts with 2" lowering springs and I haven't noticed bottoming out once. I actually like the ride, it's almost as good as stock in my opinion.

I personally hate the stock ride quality. I think it sucks. I would like to improve the ride quality with some performance, or atleast put some performance behind the crappy ride quality.

Not to jack or anything, but you could give *me* a call tomorrow and see what I can do for you on any of them. Personally, I'd pass on any sleeved coilover and go straight for a true coilover from Tein or Ksport. Both offer shock rebuilding in the future.

Sold a Ksport Pro Damper setup to a DSMer today for something like $775 shipped. If you're going to pay $450 or more for just the struts... emoji

Anywho. Thought I would mention that.

Cheers.

There is a group buy on DSMtuners about ksport kontrol coilover kits for 705 shipped... I really like the tokico and I can probably get the whole setup for less than $450. I can buy most of my parts at wholesale.

I thank you for the offer Driggs.

Damn right.

I have wet dreams frequently about my gr-2/2" drop springs frequently. Sometimes, strut bars and chassis braces waltz in and make sweet love to my unibody having me wake up in a cold sweat.

To hell with chassis flex and spongey struts.....

Run both Teins (1.3 drop) and Megans (2" drop) with the AGX's. No problems (except getting the jack under for the Megans emoji)

If your serious about drag/autox I would NEVER recommend a sleeve type coilover setup.. If it was it would ONLY be skunk/ground control and Koni yellows..

So I second the Ksport or Tein setups hands down..

and reducing body roll and chassis flex,etc.. is where you want to tune your modification radar on next.

Well, the offer still stands to anyone on this board. No worries and best of luck with all the suspension tuning. Personally, I'm seriously considering getting www.ksportusa.com/asp/coilovers_detail.asp?product_id=cd03 for the Galant in the spring. They're about half the price of the next best option I'm considering, which is totally custom with 36mm Bilstein inserts.

What about tanabe underbraces that reduces body roll also. CI has them for 95 a piece

You mean www.sportcompactonly.com/part_p-9602.htm? Yeah. I've got it. Rear is the same price. Shipping anywhere in the continental US is still well below $95.

My number's in my sig. I don't mind rapping with DSMers on the phone, so feel free to give me a call sometime during the week and I can pull some stuff up for you; give you a quote on some shizzle.

I will call about the k-sports, but I was so happy seeing the camber built in, but it doesn't work for 2g's. I will talk to my wholesaler and see if he carries them.

Thanks Driggs.
