#30759, "Wondering about springs"
Sep-17-07 05:06 PM by 99blackclipse

My brother has a set of Eibach lowering springs for the rear. He has a 99 avenger, so i was wondering if those springs would fit my car which is a 99 gs..is it even possible to use the same lowering springs from a 99 avenger to a 99 gs?

Thanks for the help

As far as fitment goes they will work, the drop might vary due to the weight difference though.

IIRC the avenger has a heavier backend, the drop will be minimal if at all. some of the drag guys use stock avenger rear springs to help prevent weight transfer.

Your fine, you wont notice the difference. Infact its probably a better ride IMO versus the eclipse ones.
