Has anyone had to replace a rusted out strut tower before? My driver side strut/upper control arm support is rusted quite bad. I have a replacement from a donor car and was wondering if anyone has tried this before.

Thanks in advance

doin mine as we speak, its alot easyer if you take the engine out, well on the pass sde, but on te drivers side you will HAVE to take the engine out.

take a stiff wire wheel and go to town on the wheel house to get all the glue sealer shit the dealor globs on the seams, then grind all the tack welds, and then weld in the new peice...its really that easy...my pass side was so damn dirty behind everything it kinda left a line inthe paint so alighment was easy.....LOL!
