I have a 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse RS. Awhile ago I purchased a disc brake conversion kit from M & S Recycling. When it arrived it had a tag on the front dual piston calipers that said it came from a 1995 Mitsubishi Diamante, the rear was not tagged. I assumed this was normal and thought nothing of it. The front brakes went on with no problems, no mods needed. The rear brakes on the other hand have been a pain in the butt. First I ran into the brake line problem, finally tackled it by finding a banjo bolt and a stainless steel line from my friends Honda. The mounting bolts that attach the caliper to the ebrake shroud, back ordered with no estimated time of arrival from my mitsu dealer. Finally found ones that will work from a local hardware store. Now onto my last problem. Brake pads!!! I originally ordered pads for a GST and soon found that these do not fit. Then I remembered that it was a Diamante and ordered pads for that, and guess what? Don't fit. So I'm hoping someone can help me identify what brake caliper I have with the pictures below. Thanks in advance for any help anyone can offer.

The caliper is stamped with the numbers " 6012 " and " 725 " located near the brake line inlet. also has a W and a 5 or an S on it as well.

I think those are front calipers dude, the brake line screws straight into the rear ones - no banjo bolt. Compare those to your front calipers.The rear calipers should be a bit smaller than the front.

well the line would screw straight into it but the line is a bit too short. these are rear brakes as they came complete with the hubs and rear arms. these are smaller than the front calipers which are dual piston style.
