Hey guys... need some help picking brake components to buy for my GS.
I'll be using 15" rims with street tire on the street and a different 15" rim with slicks at the track, so I think I need to make sure that brake rotors & calipers are no larger than stock size.
Basically, I'm looking for Slotted Rotors, Pads with race-spec material (RedStuff?), and stainless-braided lines. I need these for all 4 corners and I have rear disc brakes.
So... what's the best I can buy?... and where can I buy them? (Looking to spend $500-$1000)

You could easily get factory replacement Powerstop slotted rotors and a set of EBC Red or the Bendix CP3-pro pads for the price range you are looking at. I can vouch for the effectiveness of both combos for maintaining stock size wheels. If you can find the Bendix pads, they are a kevlar ceramic blend with an awesome amount of grip and extremely minimal fade, although they need a little more heat than the Reds do.

I went ahead and got EBC dimpled/slotted rotors, EBC Yellowstuff R pads, Stoptech stainless lines and Russel Speedbleeders.
Hopefully the cold characteristics of the yellowstuff pads isn't too bad. There will be no daily driving, but lots of sprited tuning sessions on the street and lots of 150-0 MPH braking after drag runs.

It's a pitty you'll be using 15" as opposed to 16", really limits your options on bigger calipers/rotor... only thing I know of would be direct replacement as already mentioned.

Yeah, if I was going to run a 17" wheel, I'd just go all out on the brakes. I need the 15" wheels though... slick are more important than street tires to me at this point.
