#2999, "PLEASE ANSWER...need your knowledge!!!"

please answer my questions so i have one single source to go from and don't have to keep posting single question post when i think of them...
i am doing front rotor and caliper upgrade and rear drum 2 disc conversion and upgrade...

1. What other Mitsu brake calipers are interchangable with the eclipse?
2. Are GSX front calipers 2 piston and rear 1 piston?
3. If so, are rear calipers the same from all 97-99 models, and are the fronts on a GS, and GS-T the same as the GSX?
4. Any of you with a GS, GS-T, or especialy GSX who have done a big brake upgrade, you got any parts i need or want for sale????
I have the RS and don't feel i need big brake upgrade, just better upgrade.
Halp me, I'm dyin ovu heera!!!!!!!!

i read somewhere that some guy fit brakes from a vr4 on his eclipse...supposedly a pain in the ass, but it HAS been done
as for the rear calipers, i think they're all the same, and it shouldn't really matter, all your power's up front, so the most you'll need to do is lock up the back...
god i love seeing footage of FF cars taking turns...heel-toe shifting is a beautiful thing...just too bad i can't do it yet

1. What other Mitsu brake calipers are interchangable with the eclipse?
-GSX, Baer, AEM, VR4 has in fact been done, but custom brackets needed, TC (wilwood), Stillen - those are all the ones I can think of from the top of my head .

2. Are GSX front calipers 2 piston and rear 1 piston?
-yes - all rears are the same (GS, GS-T, GSX)

3. If so, are rear calipers the same from all 97-99 models, and are the fronts on a GS, and GS-T the same as the GSX?
yes

4. Any of you with a GS, GS-T, or especialy GSX who have done a big brake upgrade, you got any parts i need or want for sale????

nope -I have GSX brakes but not selling emoji
