Looking for spring. Looking into new rims and not sure what to go with. Apparnetly you cant get gram lights in 17" sizes anymore without spinding more money than the 18's.

It seems some Nippon rims are pretty light weight.

No i got them years ago when i got rid of the Honda CRX i had. Traded the car for the rims. Ended up buying a new one anyway....i guess for a long time niche discontinued them. The chrome ones are expensive as all hell, 500.00 a rim.

Enkei 5+'s are around 17lbs for the rim.

I know that you can get them at Discount Tire for $118 each.

Wow, when I got mine they were $185 each.

I'm not trying to plug mine because they are in the for sale section, but I'm letting you know. I'm assuming that you want new wheels.

Why oh why can't Enkei bring back the Shogun?

FYI, neither of those wheels on eBay will bolt up. I suspect you posted them more for the style. Personally, I think either would look good on your car, Terry. The black wheels will tie in with the hood and give a more ominous look, imo, but the sliver will also look good.

PM sent. FYI.

I would never put shoguns on any car you want performance out of. They weight more than the car! lol

Yes Brian I am aware the auctions ar enot for our car but both those rims are available with the 5X114.3 pattern. Pictures were the only thing i wanted.

Solid spoke is what I am looking for. I considered a set of 17" GSX rims but i dont know how much i will like them long term. I have a feeling after a year i will want to replace those as well.

ill sell you my rims, i was thinking about selling them for the winter anyways since i wouldnt be using them. they are nippon lite-star, they weigh like 13-14 lbs, tires are 215/45r17 sonar ns1. they got about 1000-1500 miles on them, still new, only had the rims on since august 1st or 2nd, and i usually only drive from home to work, and work to home, which puts on 2 miles a day. i was hopeing to get like 800, since i paid well over that for just the rims, and also, nippon doesnt make them anymore as far as i can tell.

theres a picture of the rims in the link ill attach, so let me know what you think of them

No those i really dont like. The weight is perfect but the tires are too small. 215 is too narrow for my setup.

I am only looking at rims since I will be wrapping them with radial drags anyhow.

I found this article with a list of more than a couple light weight wheels to choose from, Terry. You might want to check it out for some ideas...

That's true. But then again, my shoguns are on a 2gnt - performance wasn't even an issue to begin with, he he.
