Hey guys I have a 95 RS and when I hit a bump on the pass side I hear something clunking around like a bad strut. Whatever is loose sometimes, but not all the time will affect braking (movement in wheel/feels like warped rotor). Now I know it is not the strut because they were replaced about 1000 miles ago. I also replaced the rotor and pads. I also jacked up front end and placed jacks under lower arms and set car on the jacks and then I pyshicallY tried to moved the wheel/steering and could not. Now can the upper bushings be causing this? I looked at them and they seemed to be pretty dried out. Or could a bad ball joint do this? Please Help It is driving me nuts.

I had this same issue about a month ago after I installed my new springs and struts, after the install I had a bad clunking coming from my driver’s side rear wheel. To correct this all I did was installed the Energy Suspension polyurethane bushing kit. If you have had your suspension disassembled before and you properly torque and anti-sized all the bolts this is no problem to install, I think it took me about three hours with another guy standing there and giving me a hand when I needed it. I Hope this helps. Good Luck
